Greetings everyone,
My rear end still feels glued to a car seat after the 1000 mile drive,
but the Eric Clapton concert last night helped work out some kinks.
Thanks so much to Lee and Maria Escobar (and all others) who worked so
hard to put this event together. It was great!
We have started something here which needs to be
continued. Friendships were made, some already forged were made
stronger, learning happened at all levels, and inter-style
communication was started which definitely needs to be continued. We
all have much to learn from each other. Those who can't or choose not
to take part in this type of experience are losing more than they
realize.
Let's keep the sense of the first aikido-l seminar going and in the
words of Dennis Hooker, the Dog God, himself, "Take what you want and
don't criticize the rest", we are all learning and the most important
part is keep practicing and being open to new information.
Count on those of us from the Jiyushinkai to help with future events.
Regards,
Chuck Clark
