When you register, mention that you are with the Aikido-L seminar. If
there is any problem AT ALL (i.e., sleepy night desk clerk doesn't
recognize the seminar or the rates), leave a message for Jackie -- she
will call you back to make the reservation.
Room rates are $89 per night for up to 5 people, but you must register
with the hotel by October 12th to receive these rates.
They have a shuttle bus from the Metro -- just call for pickup.
It is near the dojo, Luther Jackson School (where the seminar may
be held if not at the dojo) near the Metro, immediately adjacent to
restaurants, grocery store, laundry, dry-cleaners, liquor store,
camera/film store, office supplies, and on busline directly to Tysons
(major shopping area).
Also immediately adjacent to Enterprise car rental.
Enterprise has a $9.99 weekend special although
the car must be returned on Monday. (They're not open Sundays).
If you are interested in car rental, call immediately and reserve -- these
go FAST!

Other hotel/motel options -- all approximately 3-5 miles from the dojo.
Some are cheaper on a regular basis (i.e., the regular Homewood
rate is more like $189 a nite. Ouch!) but some are just as pricey.
