I love my family, and it is a joy to be able to visit them for extended periods of time meal prep delivery. My brother and I started visiting the North Carolina coast for a week a few years ago. We rent a condo to just have fun with each other. It has been great! I love cooking and eating so that is where my focus tends to be. I’ve come to realize that it is important to plan ahead in order to be able spend time with my children, even though that is one of the best things about life.
Here are some tips that I found helpful and have made our trip more enjoyable and less stressful. All the essentials you will need for the beach are covered, including water, wine, soda, toiletries and paper towels. You can also make a master list and decide which items you’d like to take with you. But let’s focus on the food. First, I compile a list of menus that will be enjoyed by the group on the nights we’ll be cooking together, not at a restaurant. You can’t forget desserts and the appetizers since the sun takes so many out of you. There are three types of breakfasts: breakfasts, lunches, dinners. Let’s begin with breakfasts.
I often bring along a couple of muffin and breakfast recipes, as well as a coffee cake and a coffee cake recipe. You can also think of cereals, juices, bagels. It all depends upon the preferences of each group. Remember to enjoy your coffee! Lunches include sub sandwiches and tacos as well as pasta salad, nachos, nachos, peanut butter and jelly, and grilled cheese sandwiches for little ones. The majority of lunch ingredients can be bought at the beach. However, it is possible to make pasta salad and tacos ahead of time. The beef can also be frozen. We now turn our attention to dinners. Let’s talk about appetizers, main dishes, sides, desserts, and so on. We eat out approximately half the time, so three to four nights will be spent dining at a restaurant. However, we order pizza delivery frequently for dinner.
